Choose options for recurring donations below Our philosophy is rooted in human rights principles through our work in criminal law, civil law, family law, advocacy, community legal education and media participation. ALSWA, which is funded by the Australian Attorney General`s Office for day-to-day operations, does not receive funding from the State of Western Australia for legal support and representation of some of the most disadvantaged peoples in that state. You can make a donation to support the services naAJA offers to Indigenous Territorians. All general donations of $2 or more to NAAJA are tax deductible. To fully achieve our goals and continue human rights and advocacy work, ALSWA relies on the contributions of individuals and organizations. For many years, laws and policies have resulted in a high rate of incarceration of Indigenous men, women and children in the Northern Territory. Corporate partnerships are an opportunity to align your company`s values and mission with those of the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA). Examples of this are the creation of a law cadet placed at LA NAAJA to allow students to progress in their studies and gain experience at NAAJA. The abuse of Aboriginal children in custody has resulted in a royal commission.

Aboriginal children continue to regularly account for 100% of juvenile inmates in the Northwest Territories. NAAJA has an In Memoriam program that allows you to make a donation in honor of a loved one and/or in place of flowers. For more information or to make a donation, please call the NAAJA Chief Financial Officer at (08) 8982 5100.
